Originated as a trout fly by Don Gapen, the Muddler Minnow has spawned a variety of steelhead flies with spun deer-hair heads that have been designed for skating, dredging and everything in between. The standard muddler is natural deer hair color. This is a green variation popular for Salmon in Russia.
