Wet flies had been the mainstay of fly fishing until the mid 1900's. Although the popularity of the wet fly has diminished, having been largely replaced with a wealth of more accurate imitations, wet flies are attractive, and fun to fish . Since trout will still smash a Silver Doctor fished down-and-across stream, wet fly angling still has it's partisans, including myself, so we care 30 or more of the classic patterns in our store.
Pro tied on chemically sharpened Japanese Dai-Riki wet fly hooks.
