Adams - parachute dry Originally tied with a standard hackle about 1920 by Leonard Halladay of Mayfield Michigan to fish the Boardman river. The Adams has become the most widely used fly pattern. A true all-purpose pattern in both wet and dry configurations, as it looks similar to many different insects. This Adams is tied "parachute". Pro tied on sticky sharp Japanese Dai-Riki hooks.
