There is not a time of year when you can't use stonefly nymphs to cach trout, panfish and and even bass. Dragonflies are another long lived insect taking up to two years in the water before they hatch into winged adults. This means that at any given time these nymphs are present in streams, lakes and ponds. This imitation was designed by Dave Whitlock. These are professionally tied on premium Mustad hooks in size 6 and 8.
