Coachman #16  Dry flies-trout panfish

     The  Coachman is one  the most recognized flies in the world and still one of the best all-purpose attractor flies  in both wet and dry configurations.  The coachman attually started out as a wet fly. Like many of the best attractor patterns  it doesn't really look like any particular insect...but the trout love them. I think the peacock herl has something to do with it.
