Hi-Vis Parachute Adams SKU:
Originally tied with a standard hackle about 1920 by Leonard Halladay of Mayfield Michigan to fish the Boardman river. The Adams has become the most widely used fly pattern. A true all-purpose pattern in both wet and dry configurations, as it looks similar to many different insects. This Adams is tied "parachute".
The parachute style dry flies are becoming prefered my many anglers. Winding the hackle on the top side of the hook, in a horizontal plane that's parallel to the shank, allows the entire body of the fly to sit on top of the surface and offer a truer silhouette. The red wing adds to visibility.
