Even though this fly doesn’t look much like a mouse. The Morrish Mouse with the foam back, floats like a cork, has less tendency to waterlog than all deer hair mice and pushes an easily-seen—and seemingly enticing—wake.  Big trout and summer steelhead can't resist the large, easy meal it represents. Pro tied on Japanese chemically sharpened Dai-Riki Streamer hooks. With tail it's about 4.5 inches (11cm) long, and the body is 1.5 inches (4 cm) wide.
